Refund Policy

Version 1.0 · 10 September 2026

Fourteen days, no questions asked. If Fund Desk is not what you wanted, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not ask for one.

Why it works that way

This is software that connects to your exchange account. Deciding whether to trust it is a reasonable thing to want to do after installing it rather than before, and a refund policy with conditions attached would make that impossible. Arguing about a refund at this price would also cost us more in time than the refund itself.

How to request one

Email the support address published on the Fund Desk website from the address you purchased with, within 14 days. Include your order number if you have it. We will process the refund through the original payment method.

Refunds are handled by our payment provider, who is the merchant of record for your purchase. Their processing times apply — usually a few business days, though your bank may take longer to show it.

What happens to the software

Your licence ends when the refund is issued. You should uninstall Fund Desk and stop using it. Your trading data stays on your computer and remains yours — we never had a copy and cannot take it back. Export it first if you want to keep it.

After 14 days

Outside the 14-day window we are not obliged to offer a refund for a change of mind. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are separate from this policy and are not limited by it. If the software has a major failure, you are entitled to a refund or replacement regardless of how long ago you bought it, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. Nothing here reduces those rights.

What a refund does not cover

To be plain about it, because this is software that touches money: a refund returns the price of the licence. It is not compensation for trading losses. Losses you make in the market are yours, whether the software behaved correctly or not — see sections 4, 5 and 8 of the Licence Agreement.

Updates and licence keys

If you are refunded, your licence key stops entitling you to updates. The version you have will keep working — it does not phone home and will not deactivate itself — but please uninstall it, as continuing to use it after a refund is a breach of the Licence Agreement.
